I’ve been
working for a service organization since last 2 years; have attended several
meetings with CEO and Top Management and have always felt that these meetings
always lack something. There is no incentive or motivation to attend these
meetings with zeal. Then I came across this amazing research which indicated
that using explainer videos in sales or conference meetings is much more
effective rather than just explaining the agenda of the meeting verbally.
Explainer videos that are created for these purposes are known as Corporate
Videos; reason being they are an emblem of sophistication and applying latest
technology tactics in your meetings shows how much equipped you are with the
happenings of the world.
Corporate
Videos are used by top notch organizations and firms whose target audience is
also similar. To conduct a meeting that involves a number of employees, you
need a tool that can have an impact on them and can make them actually listen
to what you want to say; unfortunately, simply explaining the agenda verbally
can be boring. Your employees are tired and they’re certainly not in the mood
for listening to your jibber-jabbar; so what do you do?
They need to
use Corporate Videos in their meetings that can explain the agendas within
minutes and will also entertain and freshen up your employees. Everything comes
with its pros and cons; corporate video despite of being popular in the
professional sector, has some disadvantages as well. A list of those pros and cons is below…
Pro # 1: It’s
the best way to explain white collar individuals about your business and what
it does.
Pro # 2:
Grabs the viewer’s attention and manages to keep him/her engaged till the very
end.
Pro # 3:
Corporate videos mostly use whiteboard style animation which leads to a massive
increase in sales conversion rates.
Con # 1: Might
be too simple and boring sometimes.
Con # 2:
Restricts the audience to watch only whiteboard or motion graphics video; what
if they like fun and colorful videos?
Con # 3: Its
always catered towards increasing motivation levels in a meeting rather than
increasing then creating fun videos to increase productivity level of the
employees.
